There’s something about Austin. The energy, the creativity, the way the city just pulls you into its rhythm. When we arrived during the early days of SXSW, it felt like stepping into a world buzzing with ideas, innovation, and endless possibilities. For Amplified, this trip wasn’t just about being in a new city—it was about deepening our connections, expanding our reach, and embracing the spirit of collaboration that fuels everything we do.
Austin has become a key hub for creators, entrepreneurs, and visionaries, and we’ve found ourselves more and more drawn to it. Our sister company, Infinite Resources Austin (https://infiniteresourcesdsm.com/), has firmly planted its roots there, connecting businesses with top bilingual talent while also amplifying voices through their own podcast. Their space at 7701 N Lamar Blvd No.204, Austin, TX 78752, has become a gathering place for conversations that matter—where recruiting meets storytelling, and where opportunities take shape in real-time.
Speaking of meaningful conversations, our collaboration with BXN (bxnmembers.com) added another layer to our trip. Being in a room filled with professionals who share our drive for connection and growth was a reminder of why we do what we do. Networking isn’t just about exchanging business cards; it’s about building relationships that lead to real impact.
Amner Martinez, Amplified’s founder, had been in Austin for a while before I arrived, and in true Amner fashion, he had already paved the way, making connections and setting the stage for new opportunities. When I joined him, it felt like stepping into a space already rich with potential. From meeting industry leaders to exploring future collaborations, the trip was a whirlwind of conversations and creative sparks. One of the highlights for me was connecting with the Latina Foundation—an organization doing incredible work in empowering and uplifting Latina professionals. It was inspiring to see how our work aligns with their mission and to envision ways we might collaborate in the future.
As we packed up and reflected on our time in Austin, one thing was clear: this city is more than just a place on the map for us. It’s a growing part of our story. The relationships we’re building, the projects we’re dreaming up, and the connections we’re fostering all point to something bigger. This trip wasn’t an ending—it was a beginning.
