The Repair Companies Shop hosted the monthly Latino Trade Network event on March15, 2023. The (LTN) empowered by the West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce is an organization of community and business leaders that aim to support local businesses in their community. The (LTN) offers opportunities, exclusive access to resources and advocacy that benefits and improves Latino Entrepreneurs.
This month’s Latino Trade Network event was held at The Repair Companies Shop, who are Iowa’s number one auto shop repair. Their vehicle cosmetic services are a one-stop shop that does it all. Nicole and Aaron Jones, who own the business, were excited to host the event and feature their state-of-the-art equipment and facilities. Aaron mentioned that they have been in the business for more than 20 years, focusing on the big retail side, and that they are excited to unveil their business opportunities to the general public.
When asked about the event, Nicole Jones said, “It was very positive and it's fun to see the reaction of everyone and their support. It was good to get the word out that we are expanding our business to everyone, not just big dealerships.”
The Latino Trade Network offers networking and a sense of community and creates opportunities for growth in the Des Moines area. Program participants meet in small groups each month to share best practices, provide referrals and leads, and learn from (LTN) mentors. In addition to these small group meetings, all program participants are invited to larger networking events hosted throughout the year.
