  • March recap Rewind: We’ve been pretty busy, here’s what Amplified has been up to this past month! As we’ve fired up the engines, we’ve jumped right into a handful of projects.   • Undocumented Momhood Podcast

Undocumented Momhood makes a comeback with a new season with its first episode for the year. In this episode the host had the pleasure of sharing the microphone with Dr. Maria Corona, director of ICADV (Iowa Coalition Against Domestic Violence), talking about domestic violence, concentrating on our local communities, tips, information, organizations and what we can do as a community to help victims of domestic violence of any gender. For our bilingual listeners, this is the first episode Undocumented Mom records in Spanish, Spanglish and everything in between.


  • FAILING ADDS UP Podcast

Our friends from FAILING ADDS UP, have been in the grind, which comes to no surprise. They also stopped in the studio to record and released two episodes this month with a third episode that will be released here soon, so stayed tuned!

In these episodes, Amner sits down with Audrey as she talks about various topics regarding inclusion and community. DEI 101. What exactly is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion? An in-depth Diversity, Equity and Inclusion conversation with West Des Moines DEI Director, Audrey Kennis.


WE ARE IOWA News Anchor, Samantha Mesa takes us on a behind-the-scenes look at working as an Anchor/Reporter and shares her perspective that viewers don't always get to see on television. As well as discussing and gaining an inside perspective of TV news and the experiences of women in the media workforce.





This month we are welcoming a new podcast to the Amplified Family. This is great news, and we love to include more voices from the community. We’d like to give a warm welcome to the “BABYLON MAKES THE RULES” Podcast as it makes its feature debut this month!






Dr. Negus will be commandeering the ship as he focuses on historical and contemporary data that members of the African Diaspora are encountering while they meander through this maze known as American society. Stay tuned!

The LSP Coalition brings providers together to learn and share resources, services, opportunities, and events in their local areas, with the goal of providing wraparound services to Latino Communities.

  • Marshalltown Meetings | Fourth Thursday of every month | Virtual


All meetings are held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
